Guidelines
Due to the nature of anger, these sessions are not without risk, I have some guidelines for making sure we are all safe.
- Come sober.
- This is extremely important. If you struggle with this, I can provide resources on sobriety so that you may come to a future session.
- Absolutely no touching other participants during a session
- This is for everyone’s safety and peace of mind. Please be aware of your distance from other people.
- You will have enough space for yourself in the room, so maintain your own area.
- No leaving the room except for an emergency.
- It is important to the sessions that we stay together until the end. If you are feeling overwhelmed, you may sit down, lie down, close your eyes, listen, do whatever you need to take care of yourself, but please remain in the room.
- The exception is if you need to immediately expel something from your body (vomit, defecate, urinate, etc.).
- Staying in the room is important to for communal experience of displaying and expressing our rage, so please take this seriously.
- If anyone is physically hurt, the session will be immediately stopped.
Upon arrive you will get a liability form which basically says: you are responsible for yourself and any risks that doing this kind of workshop entail. I am not liable for any harm incurred from the workshops and you do them at your own risk knowing your own body best.
If you have any feedback on these rules, for example accessibility issues or something similar, please send me an email.
